Charging & charger compatibility
These Xplorer 12V 30Ah lithium batteries can usually be charged using your existing AGM/GEL charger, as long as it is used correctly.
Important: If your charger (or scooter) uses permanent float/maintenance charging, this must be disabled. Lithium batteries should not be left on continuous float charge for long periods.
For the best performance and longest battery life, we recommend using a dedicated lithium charger. Our range of lithium-compatible chargers is the best option to ensure the correct charging profile and to help protect the batteries over time
VAT information (Mobility batteries)
VAT exemption is not available for online purchases of mobility scooter batteries. Under HMRC guidance, batteries do not qualify for VAT relief, so VAT must be charged for all customers.
We don’t set the VAT rules, and we don’t benefit from charging VAT — but we must apply it correctly. All prices shown include VAT and delivery, and remain highly competitive versus many mobility retailers
