Why choose lithium over lead-acid
LiFePO4 batteries hold a steady voltage as they discharge, so equipment performs the same at 20% charge as it does at 100%. They are also much lighter, which helps range and handling on golf carts and boats, and makes batteries easier to handle in access platforms and floor cleaning machines. The purchase price is higher, but more usable capacity and far fewer replacements often bring the cost over the battery’s life down.
